So I have my end of the year ball tomorrow so thought I’d do some nice nails to go with my dress!
To do these I used sinful colours snow me white as a base, then used a fine brush and Nails Inc. big apple red for the flowers, then outlined them with a striping brush and did details with Nails Inc. New York noir.
Next I added some gold studs from born pretty in the centre of the flowers for some extra detail.
Quite simple and very good for spring!
I used Barry M Berry ice cream as a base for this design, then used a fine striping brush and their black polish for the design.
The studs came from Born Pretty and I really don’t use them often enough!
Didn’t have much time this week for nail art so though i’d do something simple.
I used the new Barry M silk polish in meadow as the base, and then their watermelon polish for the vines using a fine striping brush.
As purple is my favourite colour and I haven’t used it in a while I came up with this design.
I used a striping brush to paint the black lines using Nails Inc. New York Noir, then filled in the gaps with some of the different purples I have from Revlon, Barry M and sinful colors.
I wanted to do something glittery this week so came up with this.
I used Butter London West end Wonderland for the base, then used a striping brush to paint Barry M fuchsia and sinful colour snow me white around the edge.
Barry M has brought out a new silk range of nail varnishes. I picked one up today and decided to try it out.
The base is called Mist, it’s a matte shimmery blue and really pretty, it did take three coats to become fully opaque however.
I then used a nail striping brush for the black, and added studs from Born pretty to my thumb and accent finger.
So it’s valentines day on friday and I thought i’d do something a bit different, so here’s my anti-valentines day nails! They are based off love heart sweets.
I used seche simplicity as a base, then used brushes to paint on the hearts (using too many colours so I won’t name them all!) and a dotting tool for the words. I then used Rimmel matte finish top coat to finish the design.
I used Barry M Guava as a base coat then used dotting tools to do the design.
The dark green is Barry M in watermelon, and the light blue/green is Rimmel salon pro in peppermint.
Really simple design to do and looks quite cool!
I got Rimmel Space dust in Total Eclipse the other day and decided to test it out. I used it as a base and it’s a really nice black matte textured polish with green glitter.
I then used Gosh in gold and sinful colors snow me white striped on top.
Found a similar design on one nail to rule them all and decided to try it.
I used Barry M matte nail paint in Burgundy Crush, then used a dotting tool to add in the Christmas tree and patterns using nails inc. polish in gold.
Really easy design and very festive!
